How It Works
Each morning, Regulore automatically fetches the latest FCA news and handbook updates. That content is cleaned, structured, and stored in a way that allows for semantic search. When you ask a question, the system retrieves the most relevant sections and passes them into a language model, which generates a concise answer with citations.
On the surface, it looks like a simple chat interface. Underneath, it’s powered by a FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL for accounts and logs, Pinecone for vector search, and OpenAI models for embeddings and answers. The result is a system that stays up to date, responds quickly, and always shows its working.
Where Things Stand
Regulore is live today. The core features are in place: daily updates, a working chat interface, secure login and account management, and an admin dashboard to monitor usage. It’s already useful for anyone who needs to navigate FCA material more efficiently, and there’s plenty of room to grow from here.
What’s Next
The roadmap includes advanced search filters, support for other regulators beyond the UK, and features like saved searches and export options. The long‑term ambition is to move from answering questions reactively to helping people stay ahead of regulatory changes as they happen.
